PRICE DROP!

We are passing on our much loved 1962 airstream. We have enjoyed her for 8 years of adventures and got it from a friend who did all the quality remodeling. He took it down to the shell and totally redid the inside. She s got a standard size comfortable bed in back, a table that seats four snugly, a large front couch that makes easily into another standard size bed by taking off the back bolster, and the curtains that were made from fabric purchased in France. The floors are bamboo.

The kitchen is the greatest! A three burner stove and oven that both work well, a sink with hot and cold water and large countertop with two windows above working area and a skylight. A refrigerator that runs on propane or electricity and lots and lots of storage.

The only reason that we would even consider passing her Esmerelda on is that she has no toilet. We are of a certain age that we wanted that feature. She has a dent running on her backside and otherwise she is in pretty good condition for an old girl. We have a nice awning, coverings for the rollout windows, for shade all necessary jacks, hoses, and extension cords, for hook up. We have a solar panel, and have added new LED lighting over work areas. It currently resides in our drive way so it is difficult to get good picture of it so I will add some from it s many adventures. I will also add some of the remodel.

On the technical side we recently replaced the old axle with a new torsion axle which has self adjusting brakes and shock absorbers. Also, the tires and wheels are nearly new. Everything is in good working order and camp ready. There is a 45 watt solar panel that can be deployed when camping and keeps the dual 6 volt Trojan batteries charged. We have camped away from shore power for a week and not run out of juice.
