The shell and frame are original as are the interior walls, the kitchen sink, and the fiberglass shower/wash stand/toilet perch. The door latch is original and has keys that work.

What s new:

Outside Propane tanks and regulator, front window shield, axle and brakes, connections for city water and 110V, rims and hubcaps, tires are about 7 years old , weatherstripping replaced on door and all windows, there is a connector for a solar panel and a controller inside for the battery. Belly pan was replaced.

Inside All cabinetry, Dometic AC, Dometic Fridge 110/propane , Suburban Stove top, Shurflo Water pump, PEX plumbing, copper wiring to replace the aluminum that was original, reflectix used as insulation, 3/4 plywood floor with new vinyl floor covering, toilet, black tank, Propex 2800 heater 9500btu , Fantastic Fan, electric panel/inverter, all faucets, water tank, water heater, all cushions and coverings, curtains, screens on all the windows, shades on kitchen and bath windows, and accordion door. Closets were converted to shelving.

The Caravel will sleep up to four, but was intended to sleep just two when the interior was rebuilt using the gaucho and the dinette.

The outer shell has dents in the front street side. I was able to push the dents out so they are not very noticeable but they are there. We replaced the side panels on both sides. There is a gouge in the curb side rear lower panel which was sealed.
