1973 Airstream Argosy for sale.
It had a professional restoration in 2017 by Pioneer Vintage Trailer. Some photos are available on their website and they will respond if you email them with questions about the restoration. This restoration included:
New paint job.
All plumbing replaced with PEX.
Toilet replaced
Rear sub floor removed and replaced.
Other areas of the subfloor removed and replaced eg by door .
New Dometic air conditioner installed.
Propane tanks polished.
Cabinets repaired.
New inverter.
New hot water tank.
Electric jack.
New wheels.
We brought a new rope and pole awning from Marti's Awnings in 2021 and this will be included. I will add a photo of this in use when I find one.
Probably some stuff I'm missing but that's the main stuff.
It's all original inside with the exception of the floor, the curtains, and the fridge. The original fridge has been replaced with an electric one .
There is some damage to the upholstery on the top cushion on the couch but we have always covered this with a blanket when we use it so it hasn't been an issue for us.
The only issues we are aware of are:
The screen door is missing the plastic catch on the inside that keeps it shut.
The gas line to the hot water tank has a small, slow leak. We've had it shut off by an RV repair place as we don't use hot water when we're camping. We are happy to get this repaired for the lucky buyer.
We are very very VERY reluctantly selling only because we are building a house back home in New Zealand and need the money. Our intention was always to keep our little Argosy and take her home with us when we went back go NZ so we are heartbroken at having to give her up.
We are selling her for the price she cost us. This includes the purchase price, tax and some minor repairs we've had to do .
Florida title in hand. Can provide vin if required.
Happy to answer any questions and provide more photos. I can't seem to add more to this ad but I have lots more that I'm happy to send your way.
We are also happy to deliver nearly anywhere in the lower 48 nearly everywhere for the cost of fuel.
