1987 Airstream Limited 31 Classic Aluminum dream trailer
An innovator for the recreational and vacation vehicle sector, Airstream was founded by Wally Byam in 1932. A company that quickly blossomed on the success of aerodynamic aluminum travel trailers, Airstream continues to use the same iconic styling and construction that's made it famous among RV enthusiasts. Along with vacationing families and other adventurers, commercial as well as government agencies such as NASA have continued to popularize the Airstream product line. According to research conducted during Airstream's 75th anniversary in 2006, between 60 to 70 percent of the company's trailers are still operating.
This is one of the larger trailers you can get from airstream and you'll really appreciate the space and storage this has. It has a front sofa with lots of storage overhead. The center kitchen has ample counter and cupboard space, with a convenience booth across from the kitchen. There's all in one style center bathroom with the toilet, sink and vanity, shower all in a private area. You'll really appreciate the amount of wardrobe storage this coach has, you'll have no problem bringing all your personally belongings with you. The rear bedroom features the classic airstream twin beds, with ample space to get around along with storage over head. Very clean coach inside and out, this is blast from the past and will make a great dream project for that right person.
We received this coach as a trade in from the state of Washington with a branded title, we can't find the source due to the age of the unit. We did not find any dry rot in this trailer and the wheel baring's have been packed, the trailer has been re sealed and a light and safety check has been performed on the trailer for towing but we are selling it as it sits or "as is".
